Job summary

NinjaOne is seeking a Staff C++ Software Engineer to contribute to our automated endpoint management suite used by thousands of customers worldwide. You will work in a fast-paced, agile environment, collaborating with software engineers, product designers, and product managers to deliver scalable, high‑impact software.

As a senior voice on the C++ side of Patching, you will shape architecture, mentor other engineers, and help drive patches across Windows, macOS, and Linux, all while maintaining

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or related technical field.
• 10+ years of C++ development experience with Modern C++ (C++17+)
• Experience in cross-platform development (Windows/macOS/Linux – Win32 API, POSIX)
• gRPC / Protocol Buffers
• SQLite / Embedded database patterns
• CMake
• Proficiency with Qt and Vcpkg – a strong plus

Responsibilities

• Reviewing code for correctness, maintainability, and architectural health
• Mentoring senior and mid-level engineers on the team
• Driving process improvements and implementing fixes
• Coordinating across mainline, catalog, and patching squads for shared ownership
• Translating roadmap priorities and customer needs into robust technical design
• Other duties as needed
