Job summary

Arcadis is seeking a Staff Bridge Engineer to join the Mobility team in Lake Charles, LA, co-located with a major design-build project. You will deliver best-in-class structural solutions for state and municipal clients while interfacing with design and contractor teams.

You will lead reports, manage schedules, and work with senior engineers to resolve issues, applying AASHTO codes and advanced bridge design software. This is a full-time on-site role in Louisiana.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil/Structural Engineering required.
• EI/EIT certification or PE license preferred.
• Experience with AASHTO design codes essential.
• Proficient with bridge design software (Bentley LEAP/Open Bridge Designer, MicroStation).

Responsibilities

• Co-location at project office with frequent site visits.
• Participate in project progress meetings.
• Collaborate with other design disciplines and senior engineers to resolve RFIs/NCRs.
• Prepare reports for senior engineer review and track deliverables.
