Job summary

LHH in Kansas City is seeking a Staff Billing Specialist to join our Client Accounting team. This role is ideal for someone with at least 1 year of billing, accounts receivable, customer service, revenue cycle, or related accounting experience who is eager to learn and grow.

You will process and review client billing transactions, collaborate with internal stakeholders, support invoicing and payment tracking, and help improve processes in a collaborative, professional environment.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of billing, AR, customer service, revenue cycle, or related accounting experience.
• BA in Accounting, Finance or related field.
• Strong communication and customer service focus.
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Process and review client billing transactions with accuracy.
• Partner with internal stakeholders to resolve billing questions and discrepancies.
• Support client invoicing, payment tracking, and account maintenance activities.
• Assist with electronic invoice submission processes.
• Research and troubleshoot financial reporting issues while providing excellent service.
• Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with client requirements.
• Contribute ideas for process improvements and operational efficiency.
