Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• 5+ years of experience.
• Strong fundamentals in mechanics, thermal design, and electronics.
• Designed and delivered a battery product to market.
• Proficiency in CAD modeling.
• Experience with various manufacturing processes.

Responsibilities

• Own design responsibility of a new battery pack, from concept through production.
• Drive optimal performance while managing size, weight, manufacturing, and reliability.
• Hands-on prototyping, testing, qualification, and handoff to production.
• Define requirements, specifications, assembly drawings, 2D drawings.
• Root cause failures and production problems.
• Drive a cross-functional team to execute the top-level architecture.
• Provide mentorship, design review, and program execution leadership.
• Work in a fast-paced environment.
