LVT is redefining how businesses operate with AI-driven intelligence. We are hiring a Staff Software Engineer / Tech Lead in American Fork, UT to set technical direction for backend engineers and build Node.js/TypeScript services powering our platform.

You will mentor engineers, shape architecture, and partner with Product, QA, and DevOps to deliver reliable software. This hybrid role requires strong backend/API expertise and a growth mindset.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 7+ years of backend/API development experience.
• 3+ years of Node.js/TypeScript production services experience.
• Strong problem-solving and root-cause analysis skills.
• Commitment to quality and shipping complete, reliable software.
• Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration.
• Experience with Agile methodologies and related tools.

Responsibilities

• Define architecture and engineering practices for the backend team.
• Build and maintain production-grade Node.js/TypeScript services and APIs.
• Mentor engineers through code and design reviews.
• Improve the software development lifecycle and tooling to boost productivity.
• Collaborate with Product, QA, and DevOps to align on requirements and delivery.
• Plan and deliver software projects on schedule.
• Foster knowledge sharing across teams and partners.
• Keep up with industry trends to improve product development.
