Job summary

Rippling is seeking a Staff Software Engineer for the Time and Attendance team to build scalable backend systems powering global workforce management. You will own architectural decisions, write high-performance code, and mentor engineers across the lifecycle.

As an early member of this team, you’ll influence culture and processes, collaborate with product managers and designers, and help bring AI-enabled features to a rapidly growing product suite.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of backend development experience with Python, Django, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB.
• Frontend knowledge with React or JavaScript is a plus.
• Strong grasp of computer science fundamentals, algorithms, and system design—async patterns, caching strategies, and database sharding.
