Qualifications

• 8+ years designing, developing and launching backend systems at scale.
• Experience with distributed systems and reliability.
• Experience with UI frameworks like React.
• 2+ years in search or recommendation engines.
• Proven ability to define technical plans and execute across teams.
• Comfort moving from low-level code to large-scale system architecture.
• Proven ability to gather and iterate feedback.
• Strong communication with cross-functional teams.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.

• Set technical strategy for your team on a year-long horizon.
• Collaborate across product, design and analytics to ensure sustainability and risk management.
• Advocate for technical solutions and operational processes.
