Job summary

Reach Security is seeking staff backend software engineers to drive the development of core backend systems including platform, infrastructure, APIs, databases, and data pipelines. You will tackle data processing, storage, and scalable APIs to support a growing product with strong security requirements.

The ideal candidate has 7+ years in software engineering, strong Python skills, and experience building multi-tenant SaaS with robust data isolation and cloud-based deployments.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of software engineering experience focused on backend, platform, or systems.
• Strong Python expertise and data-centric problem solving.
• Experience designing multi-tenant SaaS with data isolation and security.
• Proficiency in cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) and relational databases.
• Solid fundamentals in data structures, algorithms, and system design.
• Knowledge of API design and development best practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex backend projects covering APIs, data processing, infrastructure and platform.
• Drive key engineering initiatives and establish best practices.
• Communicate technical vision and resolve production issues efficiently.
• Draft technical proposals and document designs for cross-team alignment.
• Provide thorough code reviews and design feedback to ensure maintainable systems.
