Qualifikationen

• A Bachelor's Degree in Accounting is required.
• GPA must be 3.0 or higher.
• 0-3 years of audit experience.
• Active pursuit of CPA is a plus.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Knowledge of accounting software (Quickbooks, ProSystem, GoFileroom).
• Working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, GAAP and GAAS.
• Experience in accounting is a plus.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.

Aufgaben

• Develops basic technical knowledge with on-the-job learning across audit engagements.
• Assist in audit of selected financial statement accounts; gradually more complex tasks.
• Document accounting systems and internal controls.
• Prepare informative, well-indexed audit workpapers cross-referenced to prior year workpapers.
• Resolve audit issues by obtaining evidence and making inquiries to clients.
• Familiarize with Calibre standard audit programs and complete procedures accurately and timely.
• Ask questions to supervisor when problems arise.
• Identify and communicate accounting and auditing matters to seniors and managers.
• Clear open review notes and assist in post-fieldwork wrap up.
