BFJ, a growing accounting and advisory firm, is seeking a Staff Auditor to support audit engagements and develop technical accounting knowledge. You will contribute to planning, risk assessment, testing, documentation, and client deliverables while advancing your CPA track and auditing expertise.

The role emphasizes independent work, teamwork, and adherence to firm methodologies, with opportunities for professional growth in a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field is required.
• CPA licensure or progress toward CPA is preferred.
• 0–3 years of public accounting experience is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Develop knowledge of GAAS and GAAP.
• Prepare and organize audit documentation.
• Test balances and transactions for accuracy.
• Assess internal controls and suggest improvements.
• Communicate findings to engagement leadership.
• Ensure adherence to audit methodologies and professional standards.
• Assist in identifying and resolving accounting and auditing issues.
