Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in accounting.
• 1–2 years of audit experience at Large or Big 4 firm.
• Progress towards CPA exam.
• Minimum of 60 hours of continuing professional education each year.
• Proficiency with computer and spreadsheet software programs.
• Ability to communicate clearly and concisely in English.

Responsibilities

• Reconcile client records to trial balance and perform related procedures.
• Assist with engagement planning and report writing.
• Assist in preparation of financial statements using firm software.
• Support tax return preparation and other accounting tasks.
• Provide ideas to improve client systems and operations.
• Maintain knowledge of applicable accounting standards and regulations.
