Build Up Justice NYC is seeking a Staff Attorney, Pro bono Coordinator in New York, NY to lead the organization’s pro bono and internship initiatives and to oversee training and continuing education programs. The role requires collaboration across programs, drafting guidance, and providing counsel as needed.

You will help shape internship recruitment, project placement, and volunteer engagement while coordinating with HR and program directors to ensure meaningful opportunities and compliance

Responsabilidades

• Oversee and manage the organization’s pro bono program, including strategy, operations, partnerships, and clinic scheduling and case placement.
• Identify, cultivate, and maintain relationships with law firms and volunteers to grow the referral pipeline.
• Supervise pro bono firms and volunteer attorneys, providing legal support and case guidance as needed.
• Manage referrals and monitor progress on matters placed with pro bono partners to ensure timely updates and closures.
