AVAILABILITY Professional Staffing seeks a Staff Attorney to gain meaningful bankruptcy law experience in Modesto, CA. This role targets newer attorneys or recent bar admittees who want courtroom exposure, direct judge interaction, and a predictable schedule outside billable hours.

The position includes representing the Chapter 13 Trustee, handling motions, drafting documents, and researching bankruptcy topics, with collaboration across staff and attorneys.

Qualifications

• JD from an accredited law school.
• Active California Bar license OR awaiting California Bar results.
• 0–10 years of legal experience.
• Strong research, writing, and communication skills.
• Excellent attention to detail, organization, and time management.
• Self-motivated and collaborative professional.

We’re seeking a motivated Staff Attorney ready to build meaningful legal experience while developing expertise in the growing field of bankruptcy law.

This is an excellent opportunity for a newer attorney, recent bar admittee, or civil/family law associate who wants more courtroom exposure, direct interaction with judges and experienced legal professionals, and a more stable schedule outside of the traditional billable-hour environment.

Responsibilities:

• Represent the Chapter 13 Trustee at creditor meetings and court hearings
