NorthStar Memorial Group's Chapel of the Chimes Oakland is seeking a Staff Associate to join our team in Oakland, CA. The role assists funeral directors with events, helps maintain the facility’s appearance, and provides information to client families with compassion and professionalism.

You will collaborate with funeral directors for on-site services and arrangement conferences, establish strong relationships with families, and ensure reverence for the deceased.

Formación

• 1 year of experience in customer service preferred.
• Valid driver’s license required or preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Collaborate with funeral directors with events held on-site, including services and arrangement conferences.
• Establish and maintain strong business relationships with families.
• Always maintain reverence and respect for the deceased.
• Assist in preparing the memorial area for the family before the services start.
• Ensure that flowers and other memorabilia are returned to the family after services.
• Answer customer inquiries professionally, either by phone or in person.

Chapel of the Chimes Funeral Home Oakland is looking for a Staff Associate to join our team in Oakland, CA where we offer a passionate and purpose-filled work environment. Our Staff Associates are responsible for assisting funeral directors with events, helping to maintain the facility appearance, and providing information in a compassionate and professional manner to our client families. Your work is the foundation of our ability to supply a source of support, guidance, and direction to client families before, during, and after the loss of a loved one. We provide our staff with strong local, regional, and home-office support so that they focus on what matters: serving our client families.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with funeral directors with events held on-site, including services and arrangement conferences
• Establish and maintain strong business relationships with families
• Always maintain reverence and respect for the deceased
• Assist in preparing the memorial area for the family before the services start
• Ensure that flowers and other memorabilia are returned to the family after services
• Answer customer inquiries professionally, either by phone or in person

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience in customer service preferred
• Valid drivers license

Compensation range of $22-24/hr.
