Job summary

Intuit is seeking a hands-on Staff App Ops Engineer to lead operational excellence and site reliability for the always-on Fintech platform used by millions of Intuit customers. You will architect cloud-native data systems, design AI-powered tools to auto-detect and remediate issues, and lead incident response across on-call rotations.

You will shape resilient production practices and partner with leadership to remove blockers.

Qualifications

• Deep AWS and Kubernetes expertise with cloud-native architectures.
• Experience with Docker and container orchestration at scale.
• Proficiency in Go, Java, Python, or Ruby for DevOps automation.
• Strong observability and performance experience with monitoring tools.
• Hands-on with CI/CD pipelines and SDLC.
• Proven technical leadership and impact delivering cross-team programs.

Responsibilities

• Own "always-on" reliability at scale in AWS-based systems.
• Architect cloud-native data systems for high availability and security.
• Develop AI-powered ops tools to auto-detect and remediate issues.
• Lead incident response and production support during on-call rotations.
• Champion resiliency practices and disaster recovery playbooks.
• Advance monitoring and observability to reduce MTTD/MTTR.
• Automate repetitive tasks to reduce developer toil.
• Drive cross-team programs end-to-end with risk management.
