Job summary

Intuit is seeking a Staff Software Engineer in New York to advance a fintech modernization effort focused on AI-enabled settlements and on-device agents. You will own technical vision across major capability areas and drive architecture decisions for scalable, secure production-grade systems.

You'll lead cross-functional design, mentor engineers, and collaborate with Compliance to turn proof points into product-ready capabilities, while championing velocity with responsibility.

• Ownership of end-to-end technical domains with clear direction.

Responsibilities

• Own the technical vision for major capability areas (agent-initiated settlement, edge AI on-device agents, verifiable trust).
• Lead technical design to position Intuit’s work as industry-leading input, not just internal build.
• Anticipate cross-system risk spanning dependencies across the portfolio.
• Act as connective tissue between engineering and domain/compliance stakeholders for scalable product proof points.
• Champion strategic investment in frontier technology and influence team direction.
