Job summary

The New York City Department of Environmental Protection is seeking a Staff Analyst in the Bureau of Customer Services, Business Services Group. You will report to the Director and lead process improvements, analyze data, and develop dashboards for management review.

Position is based in NYC with 35 hours per week, located at Lefrak Building, 59-17 Junction Blvd., Flushing, NY 11373. Endorsed for a dynamic environment in a large public utility.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or JD in a relevant field or equivalent.
• Bachelor's degree with relevant public administration/ budgeting experience.
• Associate degree plus four years of professional experience in the described areas.
• High school diploma plus six years of professional experience as described.

Responsibilities

• Project manage process-improvement initiatives from ideation to implementation.
• Analyze data and prepare reports, summaries, and dashboards for management review.
• Coordinate project timelines, trackers, and follow-up on outstanding items.
• Draft and edit internal communications, memos, and documentation.
• Perform related administrative and analytical tasks to support the Business Services Group.
• Manage special projects assigned by the Director.
