Join us for the Staff Analyst role at Hospital for Special Surgery

We are seeking a qualified Staff Analyst to join our team at Hospital for Special Surgery. The ideal candidate will have experience in accounting and finance, with a focus on bank reconciliations and billing processes.

Position Details:

  • Employment Type: Regular Full-time
  • Work Shift: Day (United States of America)
  • Salary Range: $25.83 - $39.43 per hour, with additional benefits. Final salary will be determined based on experience and other factors.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Perform complex monthly bank reconciliations
  2. Assist with monthly non-patient billing
  3. Coordinate with finance personnel to resolve reconciliation issues
  4. Assist with annual New York State unclaimed funds filing
  5. Follow up on outstanding issues from prior reconciliations
  6. Support year-end audit requests

Qualifications:

  • 1-2 years of accounting, finance, or related experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
  • Workday experience required
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel (V-lookup, pivot tables, formulas)
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Epic experience is a plus
