Job summary

CesiumAstro is seeking a Staff Assembly, Integration & Test (AIT) Engineer specializing in Electrical Ground Systems test to join our lab in Westminster, CO. You will lead test campaigns, develop EGSE requirements, and collaborate across Systems Engineering, PM, and satellite operations teams.

You will mentor peers, write test procedures, and drive qualification testing including vibration, EMI/EMC, RF, and thermal vacuum, plus on-orbit support.

Qualifications

• B.S. degree in aerospace, electrical, or related engineering discipline.
• 8+ years experience on spacecraft or related systems assembly, integration and test operations.
• Experience in requirements management, system design, integration, and test.
• Proficiency in at least one scripting language such as Python, with willingness to learn new ones.

Responsibilities

• Define requirements, designs, and provide ongoing support for EGSE development for satellite testing.
• Work with Systems Engineering to establish test plans and verify requirements.
• Collaborate with Program Management to build AI&T schedules informing master schedules.
• Support on-orbit mission operations with knowledge from integration/test activities.
• Lead anomaly reporting and root cause analysis with clear communication.
