Job summary

Dolby Cloud Solutions is seeking a Staff-level engineer to own the architectural design of the shared data and integration layer powering AI-enabled workflows across the business. You will define patterns, standards, and secure, scalable access for teams building AI-powered processes.

You will collaborate with Product Engineering, Security, and business stakeholders to refine requirements, guide platform features, and deliver reliable integrations and automation that scale across functions.

Qualifications

• 5+ years building production software — applications, APIs, backend services, or data integrations, with AI-assisted development tools as a core delivery method.
• Experience making architectural decisions, setting technical standards, and guiding engineering teams.
• Strong proficiency in Python or TypeScript/Node.js; able to adapt to needed tech.

Responsibilities

• Define the technical architecture of the shared data and integration layer and set standards for reuse across teams.
• Establish integration patterns, credential management, and scalable data access models.
• Ensure infrastructure is secure, observable, and operable at scale.
• Architect and implement data and integration foundations enabling AI agents to operate across business functions.
• Build and maintain integrations between CRM, billing, support, product usage, and more.
