Job summary

Dolby Cloud Solutions is seeking a Staff-engineer to own the AI infrastructure architecture and define patterns and standards for scalable integration across enterprise systems. You will guide technical decisions, collaborate with Product Engineering, and ensure secure, observable platforms that support AI-powered workflows.

Qualifications

• 5+ years building production software across applications, APIs, backend services, platform infrastructure, or data integrations.
• Proven experience making architectural decisions, setting technical standards and influencing engineering teams.
• Strong with Python or TypeScript/Node.js; able to pick up required tech.
• Experience building tool-use integrations for AI systems; familiarity with MCP or similar protocols is preferred.
• Proven experience integrating with SaaS APIs (REST, webhooks, OAuth); edge cases understood.
• Hands-on experience with LLM APIs and agentic workflows; built production agents or AI-powered workflows.
• Comfortable working with business stakeholders to translate requirements into working software.
• Experienced collaborating with product and platform engineering teams; security-conscious in design.

Responsibilities

• Own the AI systems architecture and set standards for data/integration layers.
• Architect and implement foundational data/integration layers enabling AI agents across functions.
• Build and maintain integrations between business systems (CRM, billing, support, product usage).
• Collaborate with Product Engineering on infrastructure, systems integration, and platform capabilities.
• Configure and manage API connections with proper credential management and security controls.
• Stand up shared hosting infrastructure for agents, automations, and applications.
• Develop AI-powered workflows for business teams including customer health monitoring and alerts.
• Raise the technical floor across the organization by reusing shared prompts, agents, and workflows.
