Job summary

YipitData is seeking a seasoned Staff Software Engineer to advance our AI-enabled platform for a corporate audience. You will lead full-stack development across Python, React, and cloud infrastructure, delivering high-quality user experiences and scalable systems.

You will work with a cross-functional team, mentor engineers, and drive AI-powered agent experiences, including designing loops and integrating tools. This role offers remote-friendly options across the US, with HQ in NYC.

Qualifications

6+ years of hands-on software development with a track record shipping customer-facing apps.
Experience building production AI systems with attention to latency, reliability, and cost.
Stack-flexible across TypeScript, Python, React, APIs, distributed systems and cloud infra.
Experience using AI coding tools as part of daily engineering practice.

Responsibilities

Own features and systems end-to-end for Corporate Insight Agent from requirements through deployment.
Collaborate with Product Management and stakeholders to identify opportunities and improve processes.
Define technical direction and mentor teams in AI-native development and observability.
Drive balance between rapid prototyping and scalable production systems.
Work with users to incorporate feedback while maintaining quality and reliability.
