Job summary

YipitData is seeking a seasoned Staff Software Engineer to help build AI-enabled analytics for major US retailers and brands. The role emphasizes full-stack expertise, production AI systems, and delivering reliable, observable software across teams.

You’ll own features from design to deployment and collaborate with PMs and stakeholders to drive impact while building scalable, high-quality user experiences and infrastructure.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of hands-on software development experience.
• Experience shipping customer-facing applications.
• Experience building production AI systems.
• Strong frontend and backend fundamentals.

Responsibilities

• Own features and systems end-to-end for Corporate Insight Agent.
• Collaborate with product management and stakeholders to shape requirements.
• Design AI-native development, systems design, front-end and cloud infra.
• Mentor across the stack and drive engineering excellence.
• Balance rapid prototyping with maintainable production systems.
