YipitData is seeking a seasoned Staff Software Engineer to help develop our AI-enabled analytics platform for major US retailers and brands. You will own features across the Corporate Insight Agent, drive architectural decisions, and ship scalable, observable systems.

You’ll work with Python, React, AWS, and modern data platforms, applying AI tooling to deliver reliable, high-quality experiences. This remote-friendly role sits in the US, with HQ in NYC and hubs across the country.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of hands-on software development experience shipping customer-facing applications.
• Experience building production AI systems and AI-powered agents.

Responsibilities

• Own features and systems end-to-end for the Corporate Insight Agent.
• Collaborate with Corporate Product Management and stakeholders to identify opportunities and shape requirements.
• Define what gets built, why it matters, and how to execute effectively.
• Balance rapid prototyping with long-term engineering rigor for scalable production systems.
• Collaborate with users and maintain high quality, reliability, and observability.
