ServiceNow is seeking a Staff AI Security & Crypto Engineer in Santa Clara, CA. You will architect and deliver enterprise-scale cryptographic services, integrating ML and real-time inference within a SaaS platform. Kubernetes ownership and multi-tenant security will be core to your role.

You will design secure cryptographic systems, mentor engineers, and stay ahead of advancements like post-quantum readiness, aligning with FIPS and regulatory needs.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Production experience with Kubernetes in SaaS/multi-tenant environments.
• Strong understanding of cryptographic primitives (TLS/PKI, hashing, signatures).
• Security-first engineering habits and secure coding practices.

Responsibilities

• Architect and deliver enterprise-scale cryptographic services with security at design time.
• Own end-to-end crypto services on Kubernetes in a multi-tenant SaaS platform.
• Lead threat modeling reviews and translate security requirements into cryptographic frameworks.
• Mentor engineers on secure coding, cryptography pitfalls, and design review rigor.
