Job summary

ServiceNow seeks a Staff AI Security & Crypto Engineer to architect and deliver enterprise-scale cryptographic solutions integrated with ML inside a SaaS platform. You will lead end-to-end crypto services on Kubernetes, focusing on PKI, key management, and secrets infrastructure with a security-first mindset.

You will evaluate AI/ML roles in crypto, mentor engineers, and stay ahead on post-quantum readiness, all while collaborating with security architects and product teams to meet compliance

Qualifications

• 8+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Proficiency in Java, Go, or similar strongly-typed languages at production scale.
• Strong CS fundamentals: data structures, algorithms, OO design, distributed systems.
• Experience running services on Kubernetes (deployments, Helm, CI/CD) in a SaaS/multi-tenant environment.
• Working understanding of cryptographic primitives (encryption, hashing, TLS/PKI).
• Security-first engineering habits including threat modeling and secure coding.

Responsibilities

• Architect and deliver enterprise-scale security solutions integrating cryptographic systems with ML.
• Lead and mentor engineers on secure coding, cryptographic pitfalls, and design reviews.
• Own crypto services end-to-end on Kubernetes in a multi-tenant SaaS environment.
• Evaluate AI/ML roles in crypto/security, including anomaly detection and risk scoring.
• Collaborate with product owners and platform teams to translate security requirements into cryptographic frameworks.
• Stay current on cryptographic advancements including post-quantum readiness.
