Qualifications

• 8+ years of professional software engineering experience with production-scale Java or Go.
• Strong CS fundamentals: data structures, algorithms, OO design.
• Experience running services on Kubernetes in a SaaS/multi-tenant environment.
• Understanding of core network and application security concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP, TLS/PKI).
• Security-first engineering habits: threat modeling and secure coding practices.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain outbound security services meeting FIPS and regulated requirements.
• Architect and operate egress services with reliability and security as core constraints.
• Own services end-to-end on Kubernetes in a multi-tenant SaaS environment.
• Mentor engineers on secure coding and design review.
• Stay current on exfiltration techniques and post-quantum readiness for outbound TLS.
