Job summary

Harnham is seeking a Staff Software Engineer, AI Product to own end-to-end AI-powered features for remote teams in the United States. You will collaborate with product and design to identify impactful use cases, rapidly prototype solutions, and ship production-grade systems that improve collaboration.

You should have 5+ years in software engineering, 2+ years building generative AI in production, and strong React/TypeScript and Python skills.

Qualifications

5+ years of software engineering experience.
2+ years building generative AI products in production.
Frontend (React/TypeScript), Backend (Python), and AI UI/UX experience.
Experience taking AI features from concept to production.
Strong prototyping skills with a track record of 0 to 1 projects.
Ability to connect technical work to product and business impact.
Strong communication skills, written and verbal.

Responsibilities

Build and iterate on AI-powered product features that enhance user experience and collaboration.
Develop early-stage AI systems and frameworks with measurable improvements in performance and relevance.
Translate ambiguous problems into structured solutions using data, experimentation, and ML principles.
Partner with product and design to define priorities and deliver high-impact features.
