Job summary

Thomson Reuters is building an AI platform powering tax, accounting, and audit products. We seek a Lead Software Engineer to own backend and AI orchestration powering AI agents, conversations, and knowledge bases across CoCounsel for Audit.

You will mentor senior engineers, shape platform patterns, and collaborate with AI/ML, product, and design teams to deliver scalable, auditable workflows for accountants and auditors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or equivalent in CS/CE or related field.
• 5–7+ years of full‑stack cloud‑based app and AI products experience.
• Deep Python with FastAPI, relational databases, and cloud platforms.

Responsibilities

• Lead backend and AI orchestration for AI agents, conversations, and knowledge base.
• Mentor engineers and shape AI platform patterns and infrastructure.
• Collaborate with AI/ML, product, design, and PMs to translate industry improvements into reliable workflows.
• Define roadmap, testing, and rollout practices for AI systems.
