Job summary

ServiceNow's Platform Security team seeks a Staff AI Security & Outbound Security Engineer in San Diego. You will architect enterprise-grade egress security, integrate ML/AI thinking into detection and risk scoring, and own end-to-end security services in a multi-tenant Kubernetes SaaS platform.

You will mentor engineers, perform threat modeling, and ensure compliance with regulated environments while collaborating with product and platform teams.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Proficiency in Java or Go at production scale.
• Kubernetes experience in SaaS/multi-tenant environments.
• Strong understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP, TLS/PKI fundamentals.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable outbound security services with strong reliability and security constraints.
• Architect and operate egress services in a multi-tenant SaaS platform on Kubernetes.
• Mentor engineers on secure coding and threat modeling; lead design reviews.
