Job summary

Bread Financial is seeking a Staff Artificial Intelligence Operations Engineer to advance AI/ML-enabled operational capabilities across Technology Operations. The role emphasizes hands-on work with observability platforms, automation, and incident response, partnering with Fusion Center, SRE, and ITSM teams.

You will implement intelligent workflows, optimize monitoring, reduce alert fatigue, and drive automation to improve service reliability across the enterprise.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field as minimum.
• 1 cloud certification- AWS or Azure or Google Cloud Fundamentals as required.
• 8-10 years in Technology Operations, SRE, Observability, Cloud Ops or AI Ops.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Fusion Center, SRE, Incident Management, Change Enablement, and application teams to deploy and optimize AI Operations capabilities to improve monitoring effectiveness and incident response.
• Configure and optimize AI Operations across observability platforms and integrations.
• Identify and implement AI/ML use cases to improve root cause analysis and predictive alerting.
• Develop automated remediation workflows and runbook automation to speed service restoration.
• Provide technical guidance and document best practices for AI Operations adoption.
• Evaluate new observability and AI Ops capabilities and advise on enhancements.
