Job summary

Qualifyze is seeking an Operations Engineer to scale the organization through AI integration, automation, and intelligent workflows. You will bridge business processes, data engineering, and technology within the Finance department, partnering with BI and Data Engineering teams to deliver data-driven automation at scale.

The role focuses on identifying bottlenecks, designing scalable workflows, and delivering end-to-end solutions with a strong emphasis on data quality and compliance.

Qualifications

• Deep understanding of business processes with a strong optimization mindset.
• Strong programming in Python and/or Java with strong SQL.
• Experience building and maintaining ETL/ELT pipelines using dbt or similar.
• Hands-on automation experience.
• Practical experience with LLMs and AI agents, including agentic workflows in production.
• DevOps concepts including containerization (Docker), orchestration (Kubernetes).
• Familiarity with integrating APIs and webhooks to automate cross-system workflows.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Excellent collaboration and ownership across teams.

Responsibilities

• Partner with business teams to identify and scope high-impact transformation opportunities through AI and automation.
• Map, document, and analyze current processes, systems, and data flows; propose scalable workflows and tooling.
• Design and deliver end-to-end solutions from PoC to production; develop AI-based systems and workflow orchestration.
• Establish quality, performance, and safety monitoring; ensure compliant data use and vendor management.
• Collaborate with data engineering and BI to design ingestion and transformation pipelines using dbt and LLM-powered workflows.
• Drive continuous improvement and cost-performance tradeoffs.
