Job summary

FreedomPay is seeking a Platform Operations Engineer to drive automation and AI-powered improvements across its platform. You will partner with Platform Operations Analysts, engineering, and infrastructure teams to detect issues faster, reduce noise, and improve monitoring and performance.

The role requires 4+ years in observability or site reliability, strong scripting skills, and experience with modern APM tools. A hybrid work environment and competitive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• BS degree in computer science or equivalent experience.
• 4+ years in observability, monitoring, or site reliability roles in high-throughput environments.
• Experience applying AI/ML to operational problems such as anomaly detection and remediation.
• Strong incident management and ownership mindset.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Identify monitoring and performance improvements across the platform.
• Apply AI/ML for anomaly detection, alert correlation, and noise reduction.
• Conduct root cause analysis for incidents and maintain monitoring tools.
• Escalate and coordinate resolution for complex platform issues.
• Build AI-assisted tooling to reduce manual operations.
• Document SOPs and incident response procedures for consistency.
• Grow knowledge in observability and AI-driven operations.
