Ersilia is hiring a Staff AI Frontend Engineer who sits at the intersection of product design and frontend engineering. You are an engineer first, with exceptional design sensibility that elevates every build, defining the look and feel of AI-native workflows.

You will own real-time WebRTC streaming for the companion agent, generative dashboards, and agentic chat, shipping multiple features daily with AI assistance, in a fast-growing startup environment.

Qualifications

• 6+ years shipping production-grade frontend products.
• Mastery of React, Next.js, TypeScript and Tailwind.
• Experience with AI-native development tools and integrations.
• User-centric design sensibility paired with engineering excellence.
• High autonomy with ownership in fast-moving startups.
• Willingness to relocate to SF and work in-person 5 days a week.

Responsibilities

• Architect scalable frontend systems, reusable component libraries, and patterns for state management and API integration.
• Own and ship primary user-facing features end-to-end from components to production polish.
• Bridge AI capabilities with elegant UX, exposing strong functionality while hiding complexity.
• Build real-time WebRTC streaming for companion agent, generative dashboards, and agentic chat.
• Prototype design concepts with AI tools, delivering working demos across teams.
• Shape how the team scales code review and SDLC with AI-encoded architecture thinking.
