Hims is seeking a Staff Forward Deployed Engineer who will embed with business teams to design and ship AI-powered workflows. You’ll map current processes, identify high-value AI opportunities, and deliver production systems that scale across the company.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Strong Python and backend/fullstack experience across complex codebases.
• Experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS), Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD, and SQL.
• Working knowledge of LLMs, agent patterns, prompt engineering, tool use, retrieval, context management, observability, and agent orchestration with MCP/LangChain.
• Excellent communication and collaboration across technical and business teams.
