Job summary

Anduril Industries is seeking a highly motivated Staff Software Engineer to join the Internal AI team, building the AI infrastructure and tooling that powers autonomous coding and agentic automation across the company.

You will own and evolve the internal AI ecosystem, including data pipelines, model serving, and developer tooling, collaborating with multiple business lines and taking ideas to production with a strong product mindset.

Qualifications

• Possesses deep interest and enthusiasm for emerging AI technologies and their practical implementations.
• Able to simplify workflows into modular, reusable automation components.
• Demonstrates practical experience taking AI systems into production or 2–4 years ML background.
• Strong stakeholder and cross-functional communication skills; can translate workflow requirements into automated solutions.
• Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Propose, prototype, build, and deploy agentic systems using state-of-the-art techniques.
• Collaborate across business lines to scope solutions addressing pain points and manual workflows.
• Develop and maintain data pipelines, feature workflows, and model-serving components for applied AI use cases.
• Learn and evangelize current AI technologies and trends, and apply them to real projects.
