Job summary

Anduril Industries is seeking a Staff Software Engineer to join the Internal AI team in Costa Mesa, CA. You will prototype and deploy agentic AI systems, build data pipelines, and maintain model-serving components to support real-world defense projects.

You will collaborate with business lines across Anduril to scope solutions, evangelize AI technologies, and own end-to-end implementations from idea to production. A strong AI mindset and production experience are required.

Qualifications

An AI mindset and enthusiasm for emerging AI technologies and their practical implementations.
Creative problem-solving to simplify workflows into modular automation.
Strong stakeholder and cross-functional communication skills; gather requirements and translate to automation.
1–2 years of AI systems in production or 2–4 years of ML experience in production.
Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Electrical Engineering or related technical degree.

Responsibilities

Propose, prototype, build, and deploy agentic AI systems for real-world problems.
Collaborate cross-functionally with business lines to scope new AI solutions.
Build and maintain data pipelines, feature workflows, and model-serving components.
