The role emphasizes hands-on engineering leadership, crafting production-grade prompts, observability, and robust failure handling while aligning with cross-functional teams globally.

Qualifications

• ,6+ years of professional software engineering experience including GenAI/LLM production work
• Hands-on depth in agentic AI: multi-agent orchestration and tool calling
• Experience building evaluation and observability for LLM systems
• Strong Python and Node.js skills
• Experience with AWS GenAI stack and cloud-native deployment
• Comfort owning integration-heavy, end-to-end features

Responsibilities

• Design and build agentic workflows — reasoning loops, tool calling, and orchestration across single- and multi-agent architectures
• Build and maintain RAG pipelines, embeddings, and vector search
• Integrate with AWS Bedrock and Agent Core with precise tool routing
• Write production system prompts with constraints and few-shot design
• Add evaluation/observability: golden datasets, LLM-as-judge, tracing
• Design for LLM failure with retries, backoff, and fallbacks
• Develop backend services in Python and Node.js, including serverless on AWS
• Collaborate with product/design/delivery across global teams and mentor engineers
