Job summary

Northrop Grumman in Melbourne, FL is seeking a Staff Aeronautical Engineer (ECS Fluids Subsystems IPT Lead) to lead the ECS subsystem within the Air Vehicle Subsystems and Architecture team. This on-site role requires strong technical leadership and collaboration with internal teams and external partners.

The ideal candidate will act as SME, manage CAM duties, oversee hardware qualification and test campaigns, and travel up to 10%.

Qualifications

• Active US Government Secret clearance required.
• Ability to obtain SAP clearance.
• Experience leading technical teams.
• IPT Lead or Technical lead experience.
• Experience with Environmental Control Systems (ECS).

Responsibilities

• Act as SME and IPT lead for the ECS subsystem.
• Engage with leadership, customers, suppliers, and a broad range of stakeholders.
• Lead ECS engineering team and mentor.
• Present technical, schedule, risk to leadership.
• Perform CAM duties and manage CAM artifacts.
• Oversee hardware qualification and test campaigns.
