A long-standing non-profit organization located near downtown Los Angeles is looking for a Staff Accountant on a contract-to-hire basis. The Staff Accountant will be responsible for account/bank reconciliation, general ledger management, assisting with month-end, and journal entry preparation. The Staff Accountant will also review project expense management as well as ad hoc projects and administrative tasks.

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration or related discipline is required.
At least two years of general accounting experience (i.e., general ledger management, journal entry preparation, account reconciliation, month-end assistance, etc.).
Must have non-profit industry experience.
Must have very good time management and communication skills.
Strong MS Office knowledge is required.
Pay up to $42/hr.
