Gray Media is seeking a Staff Accountant to support Shared Services Accounting across multiple station locations. You will prepare journal entries, forecasts, code AP invoices, review expenses, and assist with monthly close and reconciliations.

The ideal candidate has an accounting degree, strong math and computer skills, excellent Excel proficiency, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment with superior communication and organization.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the accounting duties for one or more station locations.
• Prepare and post journal entries.
• Prepare forecasting and budgeting data.
• Code and review AP invoices.
• Review and approve expense reports.
• Prepare monthly reconciliations.
• Complete the monthly close process.
• Support audit requests and various accounting projects.
