Job summary

Prompt Health is seeking a Staff Accountant to innovate the accounts payable process and maintain strong vendor relationships.

This pivotal role requires a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance and knowledge of GAAP principles, alongside 1–3 years of relevant experience. The position is set in a fast-paced environment, where you will be pivotal in enhancing internal processes and maintaining organized documentation for the company.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years equivalent accounting experience, ideally including AP, GL, and account reconciliations.
• Licensed CPA or studying for CPA Exam Preferred.
• Possess strong technical skills with various software platforms.

Responsibilities

• Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Own the day-to-day accounts payable cycle and reconciliations.
• Collaborate with team members to recommend improvement opportunities.
• Maintain organized, audit-ready documentation.

Skills

Knowledge of GAAP accounting Principles

Proficient in NetSuite or similar ERP systems

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Solid Excel/Google Sheets skills

Highly motivated to work in a fast-paced environment
