ENTRY LEVEL STAFF ACCOUNTANT NASHVILLE, TN

REMOTE CENTRIC POSITION REPORTING TO OFFICE 1-2 TIMES PER MONTH!

Responsibilities:

• Maintain the corporate general ledger, including fixed asset accounting
• Manage month-end journal entries and general ledger accounting
• Perform bank, balance sheet, and corporate account reconciliations
• Prepare and submit month, quarter, and year-end analyses
• Assist with external audits and corporate tax preparations and filings
• Assist in preparing corporate financial statements by monthly deadlines
• Improve and maintain internal controls and processes
• Support ad hoc projects as assigned

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting with a minimum 3.0 GPA
• Self-motivated with the ability to meet deadlines with minimal supervision
• Effective at managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
• Must reside within 50 miles of Nashville, TN, for occasional in-office work
• Proficiency in MS Excel and MS Office Suite with strong technical skills is required
