What You'll Do:
- Execute monthly accounting close procedures, including journal entries and reconciliations.
- Reconcile complex and standard balance sheet accounts.
- Collaborate with Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Collections to drive best practices.
- Prepare and assist with state and local sales tax filings.
- Support external auditors during the annual financial audit.
- Analyze income statement variances and provide insights.
- Utilize technology to automate and streamline financial processes.
- Ensure accurate reporting of operational results and data integrity.
- Identify opportunities for cost reduction, margin improvement, and operational efficiencies.
- Contribute to special projects and ad hoc financial analyses.
What You Bring:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA preferred).
- 2-4 years of experience in public accounting and/or corporate accounting.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and internal controls.
- Experience with multi-state sales tax is a plus.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with SAP B1 preferred.
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently in a deadline-driven environment.

Work Environment:
- Work Schedule core hours between 9am - 5:00pm, M-F; additional hours as needed.
- Fully remote position with occasional travel to the home office in Columbus, OH area, as needed.
