Monte Nido has been delivering treatment for eating disorders for over two decades. Our programs offer a model of treatment that blends medically sophisticated care with a personalized treatment approach. Our work is grounded in evidence-based strategies for adults and adolescents suffering from eating disorders. We work from a multi-disciplinary treatment team approach while integrating state-of-the-art medical, psychiatric, nutritional, and clinical strategies to provide comprehensive care within an intimate home setting.

As we continue to grow, we are seeking dedicated and detail-oriented Staff and Senior Accountants to join our finance team. This role is remote.

Summary of Benefits

Responsibilities Include:

General Ledger Maintenance:

• Record and reconcile daily financial transactions.
• Maintain and update the general ledger.
• Ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data.
• Process month end close.

Financial Reporting:

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Assist in the analysis of financial reports to identify trends and variances.
• Generate ad-hoc financial reports as requested.

Accounts Payable and Receivable:

• Process vendor invoices and employee expense reports.
• Reconcile accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Assist in the collection of outstanding receivables.

Budgeting and Forecasting:

• Collaborate with management in the development of annual budgets.
• Assist in the preparation of financial forecasts.
• Monitor budget performance and provide variance analysis.

Compliance and Auditing:

• Ensure compliance with accounting principles and organizational policies.
• Assist in the preparation for financial audits.
• Work with auditors to provide necessary documentation.

Financial Analysis:

• Conduct financial analysis to support decision-making processes.
• Assist in identifying areas for cost reduction and process improvement.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 2+ years of experience in accounting roles, preferably in a healthcare or nonprofit environment.
• Proficient in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP) and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
