Chapel Hill Tire Co. is seeking an Accounting Support specialist to manage A/P, A/R, and GL entries, perform reconciliations, and oversee vendor accounts.

You’ll monitor daily banking activity and assist with biweekly payroll processing, ensuring accuracy across all transactions. You will resolve discrepancies, prepare journal entries, and support monthly financial reporting, budgets, and forecasts in GAAP.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's in Accounting or related field preferred, or practical accounting experience.
• Proficient with QuickBooks and Office 365 tools; ability to use Excel for data analysis.
• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving abilities are essential.

Responsabilités

• Perform accurate A/P, A/R, GL entries, reconciliations, and vendor account management.
• Monitor daily bank activity and biweekly payroll processes.
• Research and resolve discrepancies; respond to internal accounting inquiries.
• Prepare journal entries and assist with monthly reconciliations, financial reports, budgets, and forecasts (GAAP).
• Collaborate across departments to support financial needs.
• Support system and process improvements and assist in implementing new administrative tools.
