You will partner with payroll to handle A/R, wires, and reversals, and contribute to month-end close.

Qualifications

• BS degree in Accounting, Finance, Mathematics, or relevant multi-state tax experience.
• Strong knowledge of accounting practices and tax laws.
• Excellent math and accounting skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office, tax systems, and databases.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Daily processing of payroll taxes and tax deposits, including tax liabilities and tax payments.
• Maintenance of MasterTax (tax software) daily and quarterly processes.
• Monthly and quarterly tax processing and reconciliation.
• Ensure timely payroll tax filings (withholding, unemployment, etc.) on monthly and quarterly bases across multiple states.
• Maintain tax registrations and applications across local, regional, and state tax reporting entities.
• Address payroll tax questions and issues.
• Collaborate with payroll to manage A/R, wires, and reversals.
• Month end process.
