Job summary

Trucordia is seeking a Staff Accountant to support our accounting team in maintaining accurate records across offices. The role focuses on payroll taxes, tax filings, and ensuring compliance with state and local tax requirements.

You will work with MasterTax and other tax systems to complete monthly and quarterly processes, close the books, and support others in A/R and wire transactions. A BS degree and strong attention to detail are essential.

Qualifications

• BS degree or equivalent experience in accounting or finance.
• Knowledge of multi-state tax filings and payroll tax processes.
• Experience with tax software and standard office tools.

Responsibilities

• Process payroll taxes and tax deposits daily, and perform tax audits.
• Maintain MasterTax and run monthly/quarterly tax processing.
• Ensure payroll tax filings across multiple states are timely and compliant.
• Manage tax registrations and applications for local/regional/state reporting.
• Coordinate with payroll on A/R, wires, and reversals; perform month-end close.
