Evolution Physical Therapy / True Sports Physical Therapy is seeking a Staff Accountant to join the finance team in Cincinnati, OH. The role provides broad exposure to financial operations, reporting, systems implementations, and the integration of newly acquired clinics.

You’ll work closely with the VP of Finance to support day-to-day accounting and help build scalable processes as the organization grows, with opportunities to contribute across entities and improve internal controls.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting.
• Three or more years of progressive accounting experience ideal.
• Public accounting experience, particularly audit, preferred.
• Knowledge of U.S. GAAP, GL accounting, reconciliations, and financial statement prep.
• Strong Excel skills and comfort with ERP/financial reporting systems.
• Strong organization, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines.
• Clear written and verbal communication; cross-team coordination.
• CPA or progress toward CPA licensure preferred.
• Experience with multi-entity, healthcare, private equity-backed organizations, or acquisitions is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Support monthly, quarterly, and annual close activities (journal entries, reconciliations, accruals).
• Manage accounts payable and vendor interactions to ensure timely processing.
• Maintain general ledger across multiple entities and locations per U.S. GAAP.
• Prepare supporting schedules and assist with financial statements and management reporting.
• Perform accounting and reconciliations for revenue, payroll, fixed assets, leases, and intercompany transactions.
• Collaborate with revenue cycle, operations, payroll, and clinic teams to improve data accuracy.
• Assist with ERP implementations and process improvements under the VP of Finance.
• Onboard newly acquired practices including data mapping and integration into close.
• Document procedures, strengthen internal controls, and streamline tasks.
• Support cash reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis as needed.
• Prepare schedules for external auditors and tax advisers; assist with use tax and property tax filings.
