Genesis Orthopedics & Sports Medicine is seeking a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our growing finance team. This full-time remote role focuses on multi-entity recordkeeping, intercompany reconciliations, month-end close, and financial reporting across 16 clinic locations and associated entities.

The ideal candidate has strong general ledger experience, healthcare/multi-location accounting knowledge, and thrives in a dynamic, US-aligned remote workflow.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
• 3–5+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• Multi-Entity, multi-location, or healthcare accounting background preferred.
• Experience with cloud accounting software and advanced Excel.

Responsibilities

• Process payroll and expense accounting per guidelines.
• Maintain general ledger and allocations; reconcile liabilities.
• Assist intercompany accounting and reconciliations.
• Support accounts payable and resolve discrepancies.
• Reconcile revenue, cash, and billing records; investigate variances.
• Assist AR; escalate complex issues to Controller.
• Maintain month-end processes and supporting documentation.
• Drive data quality improvements as locations scale.
